Die späte Herbstsonne lockt, ich gebe ihr nach. Von Splügen südwärts, nach Isola, zieht es mich. Wärmendes, farbiges Licht, die Landschaft am Vorbereiten des Winterschlafes. In Isola Übernachtung und grosszügige Bewirtung. Mit langem Atem weiter nach Chiavenna. Die Leute tragen schon Winterpullover, die Schwalben haben es noch nicht eilig, zu verreisen (17. Oktober 2005!).

Thank you for your fine website. The photos inspired my husband and I to trek part of the ViaSpluga, the Cardinello, this past September 2004. My great-great grandmother traveled from Vho to Genoa, Wisconsin, USA, so it meant a great deal to walk where my ancestors had journeyed. On our next visit, we will hike more of the trail. In august/september 2004 I walked as a pilgrim from Chur to Rome. The via Spluga was one of the most beautiful parts of my trip. It was an excellent walkingtrail. During my trip the hospitality of people was overwhelming.

Complimenti anche da parte mia per il sito, visto che il 10 Agosto ho avuto la possibilità di scoprire per la prima volta la spettacolare Gola del Cardinello, esperienza che ho anche riportato nelle news del mio sito.
Mi è rimasta solo una curiosità: quella di poter vedere la litografia del 1836 relativa al tragico episodio del passaggio della Seconda Armata dell'esercito Napoleonico attraverso la gola, episodio a cui si accenna ovunque si parli di essa.

Wir wanderten die ViaSpluga vom 15. Juni - 19. Juni 2003: Es ist wirklich eine ganz tolle und abwechslungsreiche Wanderung. Am eindrucksvollsten war für uns die Cardinello Schlucht. Das Hotel Cardinell in Isola ist ein echter Tip: Für eine Pauschale von 59 EURO bekamen wir Übernachtung und Vollpension. Das Essen (u.a. Pizokeli) war spitze, incl. dem abschließenden Grappa - das Ambiente ( Stube aus dem 17 Jh.) auch.
ViaSPluga: Sehr empfehlenswert.

Durante una ricerca sui Grigioni,sono capitato in questo sito e sono rimasto a bocca aperta. Ho trovato una ricca documentazione da mostrare ad amici e parenti,per invogliarli a fare visita in questi luoghi. La ricerca storica è un forte stimolo per visitare ed affezionarsi a un luogo. Io ci vengo da 28 anni. Consiglierei di potenziare la documentazione fotografica,anche nei diversi periodi dell'anno. Mi è piaciuta la foto di Montespluga nel 1928(quello è un vero documento storico).Ho notato che mancano le foto di alcuni paesi svizzeri.
